Wait 24 hours to cool, remove the insert and discard any ash or remaining coals and clean with a stiff brush.

Clean the stainless steel grid by washing with a sponge and some warm soapy water, or just scrub with a BBQ brush.

For best results repeat this process after every use and keep covered when not in use to protect from the elements.
